FORT WORTH, Texas, October 16, 2026. PortalBase now keeps a company's training content in one library. A quiz, a PDF or a video is saved once and used in as many trainings as need it. Each piece keeps its versions, so a change is tracked and a published training doesn't shift under the people taking it.
Trainings themselves are more flexible. A step can be optional. Steps can run in order or in any order. A training can repeat on set days, like a refresher every Monday. When a PDF is updated in the library, the trainings that use it can be updated too.
PDFs in a training are also there for Ask, so a worker who asks a question in plain words gets an answer from the same procedure they trained on, with the page.
"Build the lockout video once. Use it in every training that needs it," said Calvin Titus, CEO of PortalBase.
About PortalBase
PortalBase is one system for the people who do the work: store teams, hotel staff, plant operators, warehouse crews, construction and field service.
Training, forms, inspections, safety records and corrective actions live in one app on the phone your people already carry. It works with no signal and syncs when they're back in range. Leads, admins and executives work from the same records on the web.
PortalBase is AI-native. Describe a form, a training or a workflow and get a draft to review, then publish it. Your people ask questions in plain words and get answers from your own documents and training videos, with the page or the moment cited. It connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and it acts only as the person who signed in.
Every training, signature, inspection and fix is on the record, ready for an audit, a client or an inspector.
