FORT WORTH, Texas, October 21, 2026. PortalBase now has one Certifications area for the whole company. Each certification type has its own tab, showing how many people hold it, how many are expiring and how many have run out, with a list of everything that expires in the next 30 days.
On the phone, each worker carries their certificates in a wallet, with the date each one runs out. The card is there at the gate, in the cab or at the trailer when someone asks. A person's QR code opens their wallet in the app and links to their full record.
When a certification runs out, the training that renews it can be handed out again, so the gap gets closed instead of just reported.
"Nobody should find out a card expired from the inspector," said Calvin Titus, CEO of PortalBase.
About PortalBase
PortalBase is one system for the people who do the work: store teams, hotel staff, plant operators, warehouse crews, construction and field service.
Training, forms, inspections, safety records and corrective actions live in one app on the phone your people already carry. It works with no signal and syncs when they're back in range. Leads, admins and executives work from the same records on the web.
PortalBase is AI-native. Describe a form, a training or a workflow and get a draft to review, then publish it. Your people ask questions in plain words and get answers from your own documents and training videos, with the page or the moment cited. It connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft 365 Copilot, and it acts only as the person who signed in.
Every training, signature, inspection and fix is on the record, ready for an audit, a client or an inspector.
