What’s new

What we’ve shipped lately.

Newest first. Each one has a real screen from our own demo company.

October 2026

One upload box for every file.

Anywhere you bring in a file, you now get a clear box: drag it in or press Choose file. It says what's allowed, and shows the name and size once you've picked one.

See Integrations
Import and export: a box for people that says Drag a file here, or Choose file, with the columns the file needs listed beside it, and Check the file and Export people buttons.

October 2026

Bring your old courses with you.

Export a course from your old LMS as SCORM 1.2 or 2004 and drop in the .zip. Each lesson becomes a step, and each person's progress and score come with it.

See Training
The Add a training panel scrolled to its import: a box that says Drag a file here, or Choose file, with a .zip, up to 1 GB hint, for bringing in a SCORM course from another LMS.

October 2026

Dark mode, on the web and the phone.

Anyone can switch to dark under their profile, or let it follow their device. Light stays the default, and the choice stays on that device.

See the whole system
The Reports overview in dark mode: filters across the top, then tiles for people, sign-ins and adoption with small trend lines.

October 2026

Keep people, equipment and sites in step.

Drop in the file your HR or payroll system makes. PortalBase checks it first, shows what will change, and only then applies it.

See Integrations
Sync from a file: a box that says Drag a file here, or Choose file, with a .csv hint, then Check the file and Download the template buttons.

October 2026

Connect Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot.

Turn it on and copy one address. Each connection sees only what that person can, and anything an AI drafts waits for a person to publish.

See Integrations
The Connections screen: a switch that lets people connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool, and the address to add as a custom connector, with a Copy button.

October 2026

Certificates in a wallet on the phone.

Each person carries their certifications on their phone, with when each one runs out. Supervisors see who holds what, and what's expiring, in one place.

See Training
The Certifications area: four certifications as cards, each showing how many people hold it, how many are expiring and how many have run out, with a tab for the next 30 days.
The Certificates tab in the phone app's Training screen: the worker's First aid and CPR certification, good through April 7, 2028, marked Current.
